After 3 years with the cross country program Mike agreed to take over the girls track & field program as well. Amazingly, again, a team that had never won a conference, district, regional or state title in school history, in just 3 years with Mike at the helm, they won it all, Undefeated Track & Field State Champions. Now, over 20 years later, Mike’s formula for sustained success is still burning strong with 11 team State titles, 36 Conference team titles, 30 Regional team titles, 6 individual cross country state champions, 106 track & field state champions, All-time State record holders in both sports and on and on.
